After an awesome time in Venice we jumped on the train this morning and arrived in Florence at 11:30. We boosted it to our hostel dumped our bags then headed straight back to the train station to head to Pisa.
We didn’t really know what to expect apart from a building almost falling over so were pleasantly surprised. What a choice place.
We headed up the tower which was awesome. But coming down wasn’t so. I guess it is on too much of a lean because I had a massive blow out with my jandal and ended up falling down the stairs breaking my watch and possibly a toe….a very painful journey back.
Have 2 nights in Florence so have got tomorrow to look around. Hopefully will get to see the statue of David if the line isn’t too big.

hi Dean. Omg yep i fell too on the way down (on my birthday!) and really hurt my leg and toe. It should be listed as a Pisa hazard! Hope it gets better quickly – u’ve got a lotta walking to do.
